Manual Handling training is essential for anyone involved in lifting and moving goods as part of their job. Teaching crucial techniques to minimise physical injuries and the potential for occupational disability. The course covers relevant legislation, offers insights into hazards, and outlines preventive measures. Prior training is not necessary to enrol, and upon completion, participants receive a certificate. Should this course not meet your requirements, we offer a wide selection of alternative courses to choose from.

During a half-day session, we address:

  • Legislation and legal provisions regarding working conditions and the lifting and moving of goods
  • Fundamentals of human anatomy
  • Common injuries resulting from improper lifting and moving practices
  • Safe techniques and guidelines for lifting, moving, and placing goods.

The training lasts half a day and consists of theoretical instruction with some practical exercises. Upon passing the exam, participants are awarded a recognised certificate. This certificate is individualised and remains valid for three years.


The standard fee for the Basic Manual Handling Training is €165.

For participants opting for training in a language other than Dutch, there is an additional charge of €50 per session.
