With more than 50 years of experience, we always provide a sustainable solution in the field of advice, industrial removals, maintenance, horizontal and vertical transport and construction logistics. HSEQ

In our service provision we strive for the highest possible standard in the field of health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ). We do everything we can to create a safe and healthy work environment. We encourage a proactive safety culture in which everyone is responsible for their own safety and that of others.

The Peinemann Management System (PMS) provides a framework for managing the company’s activities and the associated risks. It describes business processes and is essential for maintaining the quality of our work. All Peinemann entities fall under this integrated management system, which includes our concern for quality, health, safety and the living environment. We also like to have our standards tested and are ISO 9001, ISO 14001, VCA, BMWT and safety culture ladder (SCL) certified.

Sustainability

We strive to burden the environment as little as possible and to meet energy needs in the most economically, socially and environmentally responsible way. For example, 95% of our forklifts are electrically powered and we use sustainable energy as much as possible.

To embed this in our policy, we work according to the ISO 14001 standard in relation to the minimization and management of environmental risks and environmental impact. We are also working hard to reduce our CO2 emissions with the CO2 performance ladder program.

We have the ambition to join the Glasgow Climate Agreement to reduce our CO2 emissions by 55% by 2030.

Our history

Once a cigar shopkeeper, Friedrich Wilhem Peinemann saw the port of Rotterdam growing in 1954. Shortly thereafter, he decided to rented out his first forklift truck at the largest port in the world. Since the company was established by Peinemann, we have not been idle. Because if you want to stay relevant, you need to know how to take your customers a step further. Thus, in addition to the port sector, we now also serve the construction, warehousing and industrial sectors with various equipment, professional expertise and customized solutions.

FOUNDATION PEINEMANN (1954)

Friedrich Wilhelm Peinemann started renting personnel and lift trucks to customers in the port of Rotterdam and founded Peinemann Heftrucks B.V.

EXPANSION WITH CRANE DIVISION (1975)

Via Peinemann Kranen B.V. the family started to rent cranes to its clients. Furthermore, brothers Peter and Jaap Peinemann took over the lead of the company.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (1980)

Peinemann Equipment B.V. was founded in order to serve the petrochemical industry by developing bundle extractors and cleaners.

HIGH IN THE SKY (1997)

In order to provide a better service to our customers, Peinemann Hoogwerksystemen B.V. has been founded.

PEINEMANN GOES INTERNATIONAL (2008)

With Mobilift International B.V. the family Peinemann starts operating abroad in Oman, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Liberia, Ghana and Ivory Coast.

RESTART IN THE PORT SECTOR (2009)

Due to the foundation of Peinemann Container Handling B.V. the firm became an important player in the port sector again; rental, sales and maintenance of reachstackers, empty container handlers and terminal tractors.

TOTAL TERMINAL MAINTENANCE (2014)

Peinemann Port Services B.V. was founded in order to expand the port activities with port maintenance, projects and consultancy.

100% ELECTRIC (2015)

With the takeover of Spijkstaal, Peinemann is able to respond to changes in the market concerning electric mobility. With the rental and sale of electric tractors and burden carriers, companies such as airports and flower auctions can be served.

3RD GENERATION (2016)

The 3rd generation, Sam Peinemann, joins the management that includes Ad Kornet and John de Reus. The national and international branch are merged, operating under the name Peinemann Mobilift Group.

INDUSTRIAL MOVES (2019)

With the takeover of G. Van Harten, Peinemann is expanding its services. With the expansion, Peinemann helps its customers with the (dis)assembly, transport and repositioning of objects with extreme dimensions and weights.

KNOWLEDGE PARTNER IN CONSTRUCTION (2021)

Peinemann Project Logistics is the latest addition to the total package. Peinemann Project Logistiek provides logistics and technical services on various complex and/or inner-city (construction) projects.
